Special Healing Salad
Organic, raw living enzymes heal. For those fighting serious disease, PLEASE recognize that elimination of toxicity and restoration of the deficiency of living enzymes in these healing foods are actually your medicine.
Ensure that twice every day you have:
An avocado (containing 20 minerals and vitamins, a bland, healing filling food, rich in Omega 3 healthy essential fatty acids, perfect food for the heart and brain, also contain the caroteinoids lutein and zeaxanthin for eyesight. Great for bone health as avocados are rich in Vitamin K which facilitates the absorption of calcium and vitamin D).(NB Felicity’s Quick tip for ripening an avocado – place in a plastic bag in the sun with a banana)
Grapes with their seeds (the seeds are rich in natural B17, nature’s cancer cure). Grapes contain Vitamin A, B6, potassium, calcium, plant derived iron, phosphorous, magnesium and selenium. Red grapes also contain resveratrol. Grapes are recommended for heart, lungs and bone health, and have been proved to alleviate constipation, fatigue, Alzheimer’s and macular degeneration.
Cucumber (high water content, very soothing to the gut, full of vitamin A, B1, B6, C, magnesium, potassium, silica for healing arthritis, lowers acidity in the body when combined with carrots)
Apple – (Ripe Granny Smith with the seeds which contain the natural B17!) Yes, it is true, an apple a day keeps the doctor away, also radiation and heavy metals! Apples have been used for millenia for body cleansing, blood building, alkalising, healing the gut, and lungs. Apples are alkalising and protect the heart and lungs, are anti-ageing, Apples contain Vitamin B and C, and act as an anti-inflammatory throughout the body. They contain mallic and tartaric acid which stop food fermenting in the body. An apple is digested within 85 minutes, supplying its living enzymes quickly into the blood stream. An organic apple, freshly juiced, is one of the healthiest foods we can take. Natural fruit sugars are necessary in the body, and completely different to refined and artificial sugars.
Watercress has been used medicinally for around 2000 years, since the time of Hippocrates, who built his healing centres next to rivers where he could cultivate watercress. Watercress is great for alleviating anaemia, for vision, and re-building the blood as it contains iron in a plant form. It contains sulphoraphane, used to treat melanoma, esophageal, breast, prostate and pancreatic cancers. One cup of watercress a day supplies enough vitamin K to prevent bone fractures.
Young, organic, dark green spinach leaves (Yes, Pop-Eye was right!) Spinach gives us plant derived iron, so wonderful for building the blood, also the skin, tendons and ligaments as it is rich in collagen.
Chives contain a great source of allium, Vit A, C. magnesium, calcium, phosphorus and potassium.
Parsley (Vitamin A, C and K, a magnificent blood purifier, highly recommended for healing lung tumours, gout, and acts as an intestinal deodorant)
Finely chopped spring/yellow/red Onions (allium again, anti bacterial, anti viral anti fungal). As onions are an anti-inflammatory, they alleviate breathing problems, heart disease, cancers. Onions decrease your chance of brain and stomach cancers, heal stomach ulcers, reduce high cholesterol and platelet aggregation. It is great to eat you chopped and sliced onions raw in your salads.
Florets of broccoli and cauliflower (nature’s cruciferous, number one anti cancer foods. Every tiny floret is full of seeds). As you get to appreciate the health benefits of these amazing foods, you will start wanting to eat them RAW and crunchy, in their most potent form.
Young, crisp green and red lettuce (low calorie, but high nutrient “perfect” food, which contains chlorophyll, the action of sunlight on plants for our energy, Vitamin A, beta carotene, but avoid Iceberg, which is devoid of nutrients and full of chemicals). The chlorophyll is the life blood of plants, and very similar to the haemoglobin, which is our own life blood.
Fresh pineapple chunks (contains bromelain, so good for the digestion, also age related macular degeneration, asthma, high blood pressure, cancer, diabetes, heart health and the skin).
Grated carrot (containing carotene, Vitamin A, great for eyesight, allergies, anaemia, and most importantly containing dramatic anti cancer properties.) Dr. George Malkmus and Felicity both recovered from serious cancers in eight months of drinking daily fresh organic carrot juice.
Fresh raspberries which contain B17 in each tiny seed of the berry, Vitamin C, quercetin, anti oxidants and antho-cyanins. Raspberries are rich in ellagic acid, catechins and salicylic acid. Xylitol, a healthy sweetener, is made from raspberries. These gorgeous fruits contain Vitamin K, resveratrol, potassium, manganese, copper, iron and magnesium as well as B6, riboflavin, niacin and folic acid.
